Masonboro Sound is the stretch of water between Wilmington and the barrier islands, and this part of it is old ground — long lots running down to the marsh, the same live oaks standing over them.

The estate faces the Intracoastal Waterway. Masonboro Island sits opposite, undeveloped and reachable only by boat, and the Atlantic lies beyond it. A pier with a boat lift puts the water within reach from the property itself.

Wilmington's historic downtown and Wrightsville Beach are both a short drive away, as is Wilmington International Airport.
